Webmail allows you to access your email accounts through a web browser such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome or Safari. The main advantage to checking your email via the web, rather than an email application on your computer, is that you can easily access your email account from any computer with an Internet connection and a web browser. Offline e-mail client applications, such as Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook, generally provide more features than webmail applications, but also require more initial configuration.
There are two ways to access webmail:
1. To access an email address, we need to enter cPanel and locate the Email Accounts option, choose Email Accounts tab and click Access Webmail
On the following page is suggested to choose between Horde and RoundCube as a webmail interface, depending on your personal preference, you choose the desired webmail client.
2. You can access webmail by typing in the browser site-name.com/webmail or webmail.site-name.com. Where site-name.com is your site name. Once the page loads, you enter the email address and the password.
That's it! You now know how to check your email using webmail.
This is the end of the tutorial.
